How do I create a backup for Sage 50 US Peachtree?

Creating the Backup for Sage 50 US (Peachtree)

If you are prompted to upload your backup file to Validis, below are the expected type of file and the instructions on how to retrieve it.

To create a .ptb backup file for your accounting package you will first need to open Sage 50 US Peachtree. Once open, click File to open the menu.

Click Back Up to open the backup creation menu.

You may be prompted to set a reminder to back up your data again in the future.

Click Back Up to go to the next step.

You will need to select a name and file location for the backup. In this example, the backup is named "example-backup" and the file type is .ptb.

Click Save to finish creating the backup file.
