New Features
- Staff users can update reconciliations in a post-submission state to correct errors.
- The Validis Excel Add-in now includes account authentication, ensuring secure access to engagements and engagement data. Expired tokens and revoked access due to user removal are also managed for enhanced security.
- Users in the Excel add-in can retrieve a list of all periods in an engagement and filter by type (e.g., year or month).
- Excel Add-in users can select engagements from a dropdown menu to fetch related data.
Improvements
- Users creating smart connectors are now prevented from including forward slashes in connector names, ensuring validity for URLs and system operations.
- Database names are displayed below engagement names on the Engagement Dashboard when data is uploaded from a vClient connector, simplifying data verification.
- Excel Add-in users can look up period information, such as start and end dates, returned in ISO format for accuracy and consistency.
- Users are now required to accept Validis End User Terms to align with the conditions of use, tracked and stored for compliance.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where credit card account mappings from QuickBooks Online and Desktop were incorrectly categorized as generic "Other Current Liabilities." Original detailing is now preserved for accurate reconciliation.
- Resolved an issue with the Dynamics GP connector where extract files were not loading in the UI for engagements. Extract files are now correctly generated and accessible.
- Addressed webhook inconsistency where duplicate callbacks were triggered on upload failures. Notifications now send only once per failure.
- Corrected the receivables ledger control in V3 to display balances in £ instead of pence, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Fixed an API error preventing General Ledger report generation for specific periods in Sage 50 UK & Ireland. Reports are now accessible for impacted months.
- Fixed a reconciliation loading loop encountered by staff users when continuing the reconciliation process.
- Resolved an issue where informational banners disappeared after declining the Validis End User Terms modal. The banners now remain visible.
