If the vClient download starts but stays stuck at 0%, this could be Edge blocking the file in the background rather than showing a warning directly.
The simplest solution is to download vClient using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox instead, as these browsers do not block the file. If you must use Edge, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Reopen the Download Tray
Close the download tray, then reopen it by pressing Ctrl + J. You should now see a security warning appear against the download.
vClient is safe to download and install. Microsoft Edge may incorrectly flag it as a potential threat
Step 2: Click "Keep"
Edge will display a warning saying "vclient.application could harm your device" with Keep and Delete options.
Click Keep. Nothing will appear to happen immediately. Close the download tray again.
Step 3: Open the Completed Download
Reopen the download tray (Ctrl + J) one more time. The download will now show as completed. Click Open file to launch vClient.
vClient is a trusted application. Validis is DigiCert certified, meaning our software is signed with a trusted digital certificate that verifies its authenticity and integrity. The Edge warning is a false positive and can be safely dismissed using the steps above.
