Overview
Before attempting the upload, please ensure the following:
- You are online and connected to the internet.
- You have a FreshBooks account and can access the data you wish to share.
- You have Admin access to the company on your FreshBooks account.
- You know the email address and password for your FreshBooks account.
Sharing your FreshBooks data
When sharing your data from a cloud accounting package such as FreshBooks, Validis does not require the Validis Connect desktop component. You can start a FreshBooks share from any machine with a supported web browser.
From within the Validis portal, select FreshBooks as your accounting package.
You will be redirected to the FreshBooks authentication page. If prompted, enter your FreshBooks email address and password and sign in to your account.
Once signed in, select the company you wish to share data for from the dropdown list.
Click Next to begin the upload. Validis and FreshBooks will communicate in the background to transfer your selected company data — you do not need to keep the browser open. You will receive an email notification once the upload is complete.
