Web Service User Permissions
Next, we need to give the user permissions. Depending on whether the company is configured for role or user-based permissions, the process for granting them will vary slightly.
- If using role-based permissions, you must assign the user a role with the correct permissions. You can use the default Admin or create a new role.
- If not, then the user permissions are amended directly.
In either case, ensure the web service user has access to the following modules. All required permissions are within these modules. Optionally, you can see every permission granted in the full permission list. Full Web Service User Permissions List
- Administration
- Cash Management
- Company
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
To view the permissions, go to Company > Admin > Web Service Users. Then click View Permissions and Roles.
