How to reset your own password from the sign in page
If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it yourself from the sign in page.
The reset link is sent to the email address you signed up with, so make sure you can get into that mailbox before you start.
Requesting the reset
Go to your Validis portal and select Forgot Password?, underneath the Email and Password fields.
The Forgot Password window opens. Type your email address into Your email, then select Reset Password.
Use the address you signed up with. If you enter a different one, no email will reach you. Selecting the cross in the corner closes the window without sending anything.
Setting your new password
Validis emails the address you entered with a unique reset link. Selecting the link takes you to a secure page where you can create a new password.
Once the new password is saved, return to your portal and sign in with it.
If the email does not arrive
Check your junk or spam folder first, as automated emails are often filtered there.
If it is not there either, the most likely reason is that the address you entered is not the one your account was set up with. Try again with any other address you may have used, and if it still does not arrive, contact your Validis representative.
