Overview
Magic link login lets you sign in to Validis without entering a password. Instead of typing your credentials, you request a login link that is sent to your email address. Clicking the link signs you straight in.
Before attempting this, please ensure the following:
- You have been added to the Validis platform by your auditor or relationship manager.
- Your user account has the "Client Contact" profile type
- Magic Link login is enabled for your portal.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) is not enabled for your organisation. Magic link login is not available on accounts that use SSO.

Requesting your login link
Go to the Validis login page. Next to the standard sign-in fields, you will see a button labelled Send me a login link.
Enter the email address associated with your Validis account and click Send me a login link. You will shortly receive an email containing your link. You do not need to have completed your Validis registration to use this method.
The page will then prompt you to check your email for the login link.
If you do not receive a login email, check your spam or junk folder. If the email address you entered is not associated with a Validis account, no email will be sent. Double-check the address and try again.
Signing in with the link
Open the email from Validis and click the login link. You will be taken back to the platform and signed in automatically.
The link is single-use and is valid for 15 minutes. If you click the link after it has expired or it has already been used, you will see a message that the link is no longer valid. To sign in, return to the login page and request a new link.
If you request five links in a row without successfully signing in, your account will be locked - the same outcome as entering an incorrect password too many times. If this happens, contact your auditor, relationship manager, or Validis Support to unlock your account.
