How to download a report to Excel
Once an upload has been processed, any of the reports for that engagement can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet. The download reflects the report exactly as you have it on screen, so set the period and any comparisons you want before you download.
Step 1
Open the report you want
Under Detailed Reports, select Financial Reports, General Ledger, Receivables Ledger, or Payables Ledger, then choose the tab for the report you want.
Step 2
Set the period
Use the period selector above the report to choose the period you want to download. Whatever is shown on screen is what gets exported.
On the Income statement (detailed) and Balance Sheet (detailed) reports, you can also add further periods and a variance before downloading. See Adding Periods and Adding Variance.
Step 3
Download the report
Select Download Report. The report is exported as an Excel spreadsheet and saved to your browser's default download location.
Downloading a full reporting pack instead
Download Report gives you the single report you are currently viewing. If you want a complete reporting pack rather than one report, use the Exports page in the left-hand menu instead.
- Standard Reporting Packs, generate the Working Papers pack or the General Ledger Report.
- Extracts, download the raw General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable data. See Downloading the Extract Reports.
- Custom Reporting Packs, any packs your administrator has set up for your organisation.
