If for any reason you are prompted to upload your backup file, below are the expected type of files and guide on how to get it.
To create a .BAK backup file for Sage 200, first open the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio application.
Log into the instance where the database is located.
Within the Object Explorer, expand the 'Databases' folder.
Right-click on the database you would like to create a backup file for. Click 'Tasks' and select 'Backup'. This will prompt open the backup database dialogue box.
In the General Tab, under Source ensure the Backup type is 'Full' and tick the 'Copy-only backup' box. This will create an exact copy of the database.
To compress the file, select the Backup Options Tab, and under Compression, set backup compression by selecting, 'Compress backup'. This will reduce the space required to create the backup and reduce the time required to upload to Validis.
Once the options have been selected, click on OK to create the backup file.
