- The Validis Connect Prerequisites for user permissions are in place on your machine
- You are online and connected to the internet.
- You have a working Accounting Package and you can access the data you wish to share within the Accounting Package.
- You know the version of Pegasus Opera 2/3 you wish to share from if you have more than one installation of Pegasus Opera 2/3 on your desktop.
- You know the User ID and Password to access your Pegasus Opera 2/3 data.
You may need to ask your IT department for some of the above information.

This will start the download of the Validis Connect application. Your browser will show the download progress. Depending on your desktop setup you may encounter some security warnings you need to acknowledge during the installation.
Click Install to continue. Please note the below URL may differ from yours based on your region.
Once the Validis Connect application installs it will connect to your Accounting Package. The app is relatively small and will be automatically removed from your desktop after completing the share process.
Validis Connect for Pegasus Opera 2/3
Once installed, the application will automatically launch and attempt to locate the Pegasus Opera 2/3 installation and determine the company's version.
If you only have one copy of Pegasus Opera 2/3 installed on your desktop you will be asked to choose the Version shown in the drop-down menu.
Next, select the Company from the drop-down list.
The Validis Connect data extraction process will begin and progress will be displayed on the screen. Depending on the size of your database and the number of entries it contains this process may take a few minutes. Once all data has been extracted the data is compressed, encrypted, and transmitted securely to the Validis central server.
You can continue with other tasks whilst the extraction takes place.
Do not close the Validis Connect window or interrupt the extraction process.
When the share completes the success message is presented.
Click Close to exit Validis Connect. At this point, there is nothing more to do. Your Engagement Manager or Client Manager will be notified by email that you have submitted a new share.
Your shared data is now being queued for processing in the Validis central system. You can switch off your desktop and disconnect from the network at this point if you wish.
You can view your share progress in the Validis Portal - You may need to refresh your browser. The status will change from Processing to Completed.
