The values you can insert into your portal's email templates
A placeholder is a short piece of text in an email template that Validis replaces with real information when the email is sent. For example, ${user.firstName} becomes the name of the person the email is addressed to.
Placeholders always take the form ${name}. Type the name exactly as it appears here, including the full stops and the capital letters, or the value will not be filled in.

Keep the reset link in the format shown. Only the portal address at the start of it changes. Editing the rest of the path will break the link in the email.
Placeholder reference
The placeholders are grouped by the kind of information they hold. Most of them work in any template, because the details they hold apply to every email. The ones that only work in particular templates say so in their description.
Not every placeholder works in every template. A placeholder only fills in where Validis has that information to hand, so a placeholder added to a template that does not carry that detail will come through blank. If a value is blank, check the description below, then preview the template before saving.
User details
The person the email is addressed to, or the person whose action triggered it.
