Accepting the email invitation from Validis
When you first sign up for Validis you will receive an email invitation to join Validis.
At least one person in your organization needs to accept the invitation and activate their account before you can upload data.
Follow the steps below to activate your account and set up additional users.
Navigate to your mailbox and click on the invitation you received from Validis.
Open the email and click 'here' located in the body of the email:
Creating your Validis account
Your invitation link will take you to the activation page. Complete the details in the form and click "Activate" to complete the sign-up process.
You will be asked to create a password and confirm the following:
- Title
- First Name
- Surname
- Telephone number
Email Address: The email address is fixed and will be your permanent username. Please ensure that you have access to the email account to manage your account.
Passwords must contain: Minimum 8 characters uppercase letters (A through Z), lowercase letters (a through z), base 10 digits (0 through 9), and special characters limited to the following: ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * _ - + = ` | ( ) { } [ ]: ; " ' < > , .?
You can not have '-' or spaces in the telephone number section.
Once you activate your account you will be logged in to your Validis Portal Dashboard. The modules available to you on the dashboard will vary according to your user role.
For Client Admin Users
The image below shows the standard Dashboard for an Administrator user.
Customising your Validis Portal
Once you have successfully activated your Validis account and logged in you can begin customising your Validis portal.
Customising the portal allows you to change the system-wide settings for Branding, End User Licence Agreement, and Support details.
Inviting a secondary Administrator
Skip steps 3 & 4 if you are not the first Administrator user for your Validis Admin Portal.
If you are the first and only Administrator user on Validis it is highly recommended that you invite an appropriate colleague to join Validis and grant them 'Client Admin' access. This ensures that your Validis account can be managed in your absence.
