Overview
This article will show you how to resolve this error:
"This user has exceeded the number of active access tokens for this role."
When uploading your data with NetSuite, an active access token is assigned to the user completing the upload. NetSuite assigns a token per connection and imposes a limit of 20 access tokens. These tokens are associated with the NetSuite user.
Each engagement in Validis uses one access token. Therefore, after uploading for multiple entities, you may receive an "exceeded active token" error. The full error message will say:
"This user has exceeded the number of active access tokens for this role."
This is a limit on NetSuite’s side, and for now, the solution is to revoke access tokens in NetSuite.
Locating the Access Tokens
You can see which users have access tokens by:
- Sign in to NetSuite
- Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Access Tokens.
- The Access Tokens page displays all existing tokens
How to Revoke Access Tokens
Locate the admin user who completed the upload
Click Edit
Then click Revoke
Lastly, select OK
