List of Accounting Package's Validis Connect Permissions

Sage 50 UK and Ireland

• Admin username and password
• Sage 50 is installed on a machine you have access to.

Sage 50 US (Peachtree)

• Admin username and password
• Sage 50 is installed on a machine you have access to.

• You know the location of your Sage 50 Canada (Simply) SAJ directory that holds the data you wish to share.
• You know the User ID and Password that can access your Sage 50 Canada (Simply) data.
  • This User ID must have a minimum third-party product read-only access privileges within Sage 50 Canada (Simply). 

    You can check if you have the correct third-party read access privilege by following this guide.

You may need to ask your IT department for some of the above information.

• Your Sage 100 package must have a valid license file.
• You know the SQL Server Instance Name, Username, and Password that can access your Sage 100 Contractor data.
• You know which version of Sage 100 you wish to share from (if you have multiple versions installed).
• You know the Database Name from which you'd like to share data.

You may need to ask your IT department for some of the above information.

• Your Sage 100 package must have a valid license file.
• You know the User ID and Password that can access your Sage 100 data.
• You know which version of Sage 100 you wish to share from (if you have multiple versions installed).
• You know the Company Name from which you'd like to share data.

• To upload from Sage 200, it must be done from a machine with the SQL Server Management Studio, System Administration & Sage 200 all installed
• The user's profile uploading must have access to the company’s database in both the SQL & System Administration 
• The user's profile must have their Server Role set to Public
• The user's profile User Mapping must be set to db_datareader or Higher and Public on the company being uploaded
• The user's profile must be added to the company on System Administration 

(Validis Connect will attempt to use Windows authentication to connect to the database if you do not enter any credentials on the user details screen)

• Your Sage 300 package must have a valid license file.
• You know the User ID and Password to access the Sage 300 database you wish to share.

• You have a Sage Business Cloud Account, and you can access the data you wish to share.
• You know the User ID and Password for your Sage Business Cloud account.

• You must have Top-level administrator access within the Sage Intacct portal.
• You must have Multi-base currencies enabled if using multi-base currencies.
  (To verify this, go to Company > Subscriptions >Multi Entity Console > select Configure > View Enable

• You know the QBD Admin User ID and Password that can access your QuickBooks data. (How to check your QuickBooks Desktop Admin Credentials – Validis Support)
• If using multi-user mode, it must be off and switched to single-user mode. (This can be switched back to multi-user mode after the upload)

• Your QuickBooks Online package must have a valid license.
• You have Master or Company Admin access to the company accounting data on your QuickBooks Online account

• You know the SQL Server Instance Name.
• You know the Database name you wish to upload data from. 
• You know the SQL Server User ID and Password that can access the Microsoft Dynamics data.
• Validis Connect (vClient) is being run in the same machine where the company's SQL Server instance is located.

You may need to ask your IT department for some of the above information.

• The user sharing must have the Cloud Application Administrator role in their Microsoft tenant 
• You have a Dynamics 365 account with Extension Management permissions
• You know your Tenant ID

• You know which version of Microsoft Dynamics GP to share data from.
• You are running the upload from the same machine where the company's SQL Server instance is located.
• You know the SQL Server Instance Name.
• You know the SQL Server User ID and Password that can access the data.
• You know which Company to share data for.

• Your system has access to SAP Business One
• You will need the following information:
  • API Server Name
  • API Port Number
  • Database Name
  • Username and Password - you must have access to the data that you are trying to extract.

• You have a MYOB Account, and you can access the data you wish to share.
• You know the User ID and Password that can access your MYOB data.

• You know the version of Pegasus Opera 2/3 you wish to share from if you have more than one installation of Pegasus Opera 2/3 on your desktop.
• You know the User ID and Password to access your Pegasus Opera 2/3 data.

• You have completed the NetSuite Integration Setup

• You have your NetSuite Company ID.

  • Your Company ID can be found as follows: 

• You are the NetSuite Administrator Account and can access the data you wish to share.
• You know the User ID and Password for your NetSuite account.
• Please ensure you are logged out of NetSuite when attempting the share

• Your Abila package must have a valid license file.
• You know the SQL Server Instance Name, Username, and Password that can access your Abila data.
• You know which version of Abila to share from if you have multiple versions installed.
• You know the Company Database Name from which to share data.

• You know the User ID and Password that can access your Epicor data.
• You know the version of Epicor where your company data is stored

• You have an Xero Account, and you can access the data you wish to share.
• You have a Standard or Adviser account type or an account that can set up or disconnect connected apps.
• You know the User ID and Password for your Xero account.
